Sanjay Lavakare, once part of Bengaluru's IT scene, transitioned from engineering to his true passion of creating art. After 16 years in the IT industry, he opted to pursue art full-time rather than taking a sabbatical offered by his company. Sanjay has been a consistent presence at the Chithra Santhe each year. He showcases his latest artwork depicting the essence of Koramangala, inspired by discussions with old neighbors still living on L Street. They identified 50-60 neighborhood elements that influenced his painting, some obvious and others requiring a keen eye to decipher.
